(Southaven, MS) The auditors report is in for the city of Southaven, and once again travel reimbursement is in question.

Auditors looked at 25 trips and found problems with five of them.

For example, someone used a credit card statement, not a receipt, when they asked for money back, and couldn’t prove why it was city business.

The audit says as of last year Southaven was still not fully following the policies put in place after the state auditor found former Mayor Greg Davis misspending city money.

Travel reimbursement was the only problem found in the audit.
