MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Ashlar Hall is located at 1397 Central Avenue in Memphis and was built in 1896 by the Snowden family.

It was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in January 1983.

It’s a place best known for once being owned by local character Prince Mongo.

There is now a move to restore the once grand building, known by many as The Castle.

Urban Renaissance Initiative in cooperation with Michael Clayton Productions presents an evening of Dining, Music and Magic with proceeds going to support the restoration of Memphis’ Ashlar Hall.

There will be a silent auction and wine tasting starting at 6 pm followed by dinner at 7 pm.

Then, immediately following dinner the evenings entertainment will be provided by Illusionist Michael Clayton and featuring special music performed by former Miss America Kellye Cash.

Michael Clayton is one of the Mid-South’s leading magicians with over 30 years of performing experience featuring some of the finest sleight-of-hand skills and grand Illusion.

Kellye Cash will perform a selection of music by the legendary Patsy Cline and her Uncle Johnny Cash.

Seating is limited, so reserve your tickets today to be a part of this great event.
