MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Window washers dressed up like superheroes and rappelled down the outside of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Thursday, surprising patients for Halloween.
“They get to forget about what they’re doing in here, and about, you know, something else,” Ryan Walker, who was dressed like Ironman, said.
Window washers from American Natural Skyline dressed up like Ironman, Spiderman, and Captain America for the surprise.
Children ran to the windows and high-fived them on their way down.
“Parents be stressed out here, but like, your inner child comes out when you know Spiderman’s on the roof, you know?” parent Shuntay Howard said with a laugh.
The window washers like to do surprises like this. They said they dress up like elves and do the same thing around Christmas.
