MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shelby Farms supporters have raised the $70 million needed to fund future and current improvements in the park.
Of the amount, $52 million goes to redevelop Patriot Lake, known as “the heart of the park.”
Other improvements include the Shelby Farms Greenline the Discovery Playground and the Wolf River pedestrian bridge.
Renovation of the lake area is expected to be complete by next fall.
