MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in critical condition after having scalding water poured on him and tried to stab him with a tire plug tool.
Police say a woman, for a reason unknown so far, threw the water on the man.
After the water was thrown on him, the man went to a home in the 2200 block of Dexter Avenue for help.
He was taken to the burn unit at the Regional Medical Center.
Urelene Wright is charged with aggravated assault.
