MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis native will soon be appearing on The Orpheum stage when the national tour of Matilda The Musical comes to the Bluff City.
Lily O’Briant, 9, is one of three young ladies set to take on the role of the lovable Matilda, in the production’s first national tour.
Matilda The Musical tells the story of a young girl who “dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.”
The Wall Street Journal called it “smart, sweet, zany and stupendous fun,” and it’s one you definitely don’t want to miss.
The musical runs from January 12-17 at the Orpheum Theatre.
