MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men were robbed late Friday night, and one of the victims was shot and killed.
The three men were approached by the suspects, a group of four men, when they were walking in the 2300 block of Staten Avenue around 11 p.m. Friday, police said.
The suspects robbed and assaulted the victims, police said. One of the victims was shot when he attempted to run away.
The man killed was 53 years old, police said. He was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived on the scene.
Police have not yet made any arrests in this case.
