MEMPHIS, Tenn. —  Memphis Police have released more information in connection to a local man’s murder near Outland and Cromwell on February 4. Just before 3 a.m., officers found 29-year-old Bertram Thompson with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead on the scene. After combing through nearby security cameras, officers found images of a red, extended cab, pickup truck near the scene. They believe the truck is connected to this homicide.
