MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The National Weather Service has extended the Heat Advisory for the entire Mid-South.

Hot temperatures in combination with high humidity will result in heat indeces between 105 and 110 degrees, the NWS said.

The Heat Advisory is now in effect until 8 p.m. Friday.

Those outdoors should limit their exposure to the heat.

Also be sure to check in on elderly neighbors and drink plenty of water.
