MEMPHIS, Tenn. —The father of the toddler who died after shooting himself Saturday has been charged by police.
Gari Settles, 38, was charged with reckless homicide.
Police responded to a shooting on the 1400 block of Hickory Way just after 6:30 p.m.
They found a toddler who was in extremely critical condition after shooting himself, police say.
The toddler was pronounced dead just after 10 p.m.
