MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was killed and two others injured following a disturbance at a Binghampton night club.
Police were called to James Lounge in the 3100 block of Summer Avenue around midnight about a disturbance inside the club. The involved parties appear to have gone outside where shots were fired, authorities said.
One man was already deceased outside the business when first responders made the scene, police said. Two other males were located nearby. They were both rushed to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Investigators have not released any information on the victim or suspect(s).
Video from the scene also showed a wrecked vehicle nearby, which sent a female to the hospital in critical conditions. Authorities said they are treating it as being connected to the incident, but couldn’t say how.
While it is not clear if all of the incidents are related, the Memphis Fire Department said they received three different calls in the general area overnight.
Two people were transported from James Lounge and one from Guernsey Avenue. Another call came in from Pope Street, but no one was transported to the hospital.
