The man convicted of murdering a Tennessee nursing student had his appeal for a new trial denied by a judge.

Attorneys are meeting to see if they can negotiate a plea deal for Dylan Adams in the Holly Bobo murder case.

Dylan Adams, one of the defendants accused of kidnapping, raping and murdering nursing student Holly Bobo, will not face the death penalty when he returns for his trial next year.

An attorney is requesting a new trial for Zachary Adams, the man sentenced to life in prison plus 50 years for the kidnapping, rape and killing of nursing student Holly Bobo. 

Time and time again, as we heard testimony about the kidnap, rape and murder of Holly Bobo there were stories about drugs in Decatur County.
