Our furry friend today is representing 20 golden retrievers up for adoption through the Memphis Area Golden Retriever Rescue Organization.
Four-year-old Houston is the mascot for the rescue organization.
He’s an accomplished therapy dog, and helps train the other dogs to be helpful and obedient too.
You’ll have a chance to meet many of the golden retrievers up for adoption this weekend at the Germantown Festival.
It’s Saturday and Sunday at the Germantown Civic Club Complex.
You do have to meet certain requirements to be able to adopt a dog, but that’s just to ensure they get good, loving homes!
So make sure to check out the Memphis Area Golden Retriever Rescue, and make a Furry Friend like Houston a part of your family!
