(Memphis) Two adults have been indicted for an incident where a 5-year-old brought a gun to Westside Elementary School.

Police say 27-year-old Marvin Millbrook brought a loaded gun to the home of 28-year-old Tencil Jones.

Jones’ 8-year-old daughter found the gun, which was taken from her, but according to police not properly secured.

That allowed Jones’ 5-year-old son to find the gun and bring it to Westside Elementary School where it went off in his backpack August 22.

No one was injured when the gun went off.

Both Jones and Millbrook face two charges each of reckless endangerment which is a class “E” felony with a sentence of up to six years.
