(Earle, AR) Fire investigators in Crittenden County are trying to determine the cause of an overnight fire that destroyed an old school building in Earle.

The fire broke out early Monday morning and caused part of the building to collapse.

Leaders with the Earle School District say the building was being “minimally used” by the district and did not house any classrooms.

Even though the building is close to current campuses, classes in Earle will begin as scheduled Monday morning.
