An education advocacy group gives Tennessee education officials mixed grades on a proposal to revise the way they fund public schools.

The organization, Tennessee Can, has worked extensively to advance education for under-resourced students, like many of those here in Shelby County.

Tennessee Can’s executive director Victor Evans is live with us from Nashville with his organization’s first public comments on the proposed revisions, announced last week.
