Digital Executive Producer, WREG
David Royer is a former editor and award-winning reporter for newspapers in Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia. He is a native of the Memphis area and graduated from the University of Memphis. He returned to his hometown in 2011.
He moved into digital journalism while working at The (Memphis) Commercial Appeal, and previously was an adjunct faculty member in the journalism department at The University of Memphis.
He joined the WREG News Channel 3 digital team in 2017 and helped WREG.com become the top digital news source in the Memphis area.
