MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 40 East Tuesday afternoon.

Police said one person was pronounced dead on the scene and have shut down eastbound traffic on I-240. MPD said the Millbranch exit is closed.

Drivers are advised to find an alternate route until the scene has been cleared.
