(Memphis) A 14-year-old girl says she was kidnapped on her way home from school and that she smashed a beer bottle on her abductor’s head to get away.

The girl told WREG a man threw her into his black Mustang near Kingsbury High and tied her hands together with wire.

“He was going to rape me or kill me or something. He said, ‘I’m going to have fun with you first, and then I’m going to see where I can throw you,'” the girl said.

She knocked him out, and then ran to her godmother’s home on Graham.

“When he said that, I was like I am gone now, but then thanks to Jesus, he stopped and I saw a bottle,” she said. “He had beer in his truck, so I got a bottle and hit him in his head. That’s how I got out”

Her family friend Brayan Ramero was playing soccer nearby.

“There was a Mustang going around and around slow. It kept stopping at places like right here,” said Ramero while standing next to the home.

A few minutes later, a sound scared him.

“We just heard screaming,” said Ramero.

The kidnapper is still on the streets and officers are determined to find him.

The girl is back home with her family safe and sound, and thankful she got away.

“Thank goodness I’m OK,” said the girl.

She says the kidnapper hurt her back when he threw her into the car, and is in extreme pain tonight.
