MEMPHIS, Tenn.– A woman is dead after she was intentionally struck by a vehicle in Raleigh Thursday night.

Officers responded to the crash at the intersections of Frayser Raleigh and New Allen Road just before 9 p.m.

The victim did not survive her injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.

Police say Quentin Cook, 41, intentionally struck the woman twice with his car following an argument.

Cook was detained at the scene and charged with first-degree murder.

Earlier this year, Cook was charged with a class A misdemeanor after he allegedly removed his GPS tracker which was found in the middle of the road. Court documents also described him as a violent sex offender.
