(Memphis) Saturday night was a big night for several young women in Downtown Memphis at the Peabody Hotel.
The Memphis Chapter of The Links, Incorporated presented 13 young women in its Holiday Cotillion.
The young ladies all wore white ballgowns while their escorts wore tuxedos. The evening ended with a grand waltz.
The Links, Inc. is an organization of women committed to community service, the arts, education and culture.
Some of the Memphis chapter’s projects include the funding of an endowed scholarship at LeMoyne-Owen College, sponsoring the Shelby County Room of the Public Library and the sponsorship of It’s a Girl’s Life.
