MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was robbed while his wife was beaten at an apartment complex in Fox Meadows and police need your help looking for suspects.
It happened on Dec. 29 at the Ivy Chase apartments near Mendenhall and Knight Arnold Road around 3 a.m.
Police say it started when four armed men in a black Dodge Charger and a dark-colored SUV pulled into the complex.

Surveillance video shows the group looking through cars in the parking lot before getting back into their vehicles.
The suspects drove to the other side of the complex, where they found a man sitting in his car getting ready for work.
Investigators say this time six armed men got out of both vehicles and held the victim at gunpoint. They took his iPhone and $3.
When the victim’s wife came outside, the suspects reportedly pointed guns at her, grabbed her, hit her in the face till she fell, and kicked her repeatedly. MPD says they stole her purse before getting away.
MPD says one of the suspects was armed with an AR-15 Draco pistol with a barrel-mounted flashlight. They also released photos of the suspects.
Dean Hurst handles maintenance at the apartment complex and says they’ve had similar incidents like this happen in the past and he’s tired of it.
“We’re really concerned about our tenants. Our tenants are our most important concern as far as safety,” Hurst said. “What we’ve done now is we’ve picked up our security. I’ve got the blinking lights so that we kind of maybe deter them a little bit.”
Hurst says the couple wasn’t seriously injured and they’re working closely with law enforcement to help bring the culprits to justice and protect residents.
