(Houston, TX) If you’re dreaming of vacation, don’t book that trip while you’re at work.

A new study from Rice University finds that people are more likely to splurge on expensive hotels and be less satisfied with their trip when they book it while at the office.

Researchers did not look at why, but they think it’s because people are more tired and don’t think through their purchases.

According to the research, about 35 percent of people book trips while at the office.
