(Charlotte, NC) About 3,000,000 Bank of America customers could be getting a little money back.

The bank has agreed to pay $772 million in fines and refunds to people who were tricked into signing up for credit card extras like identity theft protection.

Federal regulators accused the bank of misleading customers about the cost and benefits of its products.

Bank of America didn’t admit to or deny the allegations.
