(WREG-TV) Instead of writing a check, consider unique ways to give money.

A tissue box that says “don’t blow it all” filled with dollar bills shows thought and effort for your special graduate.

Similarly, a mason jar filled with change that says “hard work always results in positive change” is a nice way to give a motivational gift.

Tie a large colorful bow on the rim for added pizazz.

Travel- Is your graduate off to another city? Consider a travel book or coffee table book on their new city.  There are sections in travel books suggesting free activities and outings.

Personalization – personalizing an item is a wonderful way to show thought and effort.

This can include the graduate’s initials on a toiletry item or key chain, or simply giving the graduate a gift with their new school’s name on it.
