MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is looking for three men who they say stole a car and robbed a woman in East Memphis on Sunday.

According to Memphis Police, on January 21, the victim was putting items in her van when a white Hyundai Elantra pulled up beside her and two men got out of the passenger side.

The victim stated that the two men started demanding money before they physically searched her and took $250 in cash.

The men then left the scene in the Hyundai.

The robbery wasa reported on Morlye Place, near Lamar and I-240.

During the investigation, it was determined that the Hyundai was stolen the same day from the 4300 block of East Faronia Road in Whitehaven.

MPD says no arrests have been made, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
