Chefs like Gail Churinetz will dish up delicious dishes at a tasting event to raise money for The Noyes Brain Tumor Foundation. Named for the late Matt Noyes, the foundation helps fund brain tumor research and treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Part of the proceeds also go to sending young cancer patients to Camp Sunshine in Maine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses. It was Matt’s dream for children from the south to experience the beauty and outdoor activities Maine has to offer. For more information about the foundation and the Cooking for a Cure event on Friday, September 12, visit www.thenoyesbraintumorfoundation.com.
