MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Families in Frayser are in shock following an odd home invasion in their neighborhood.

“I`m too young to be dying,” said nine year old Montorio Coleman.

Just a couple doors down from his house on Knob Drive, is a boarded one where police say, Justin Smith and another man forced their way in and a held up a man inside.

“I`m scared they`re going to break into our house,” said Coleman.

Detectives say the victim was renovating the home earlier this week, when Smith and another suspected crook forced the man to strip naked at gunpoint. The two violent suspects are accused of taking everything the victim had on him and driving off with his van.

Neighbors tell WREG, the victim ran down the street, naked, and screaming for help.

“That`s sad. We just moved here and they are already robbing people,” said Coleman.

Nine year old Montorio didn`t see that man screaming for help, but he says he ran into Smith just a couple weeks ago in the neighborhood. The run in spooked the boy so badly, he rushed home, told his mom and warned his brother and sisters to watch out.

“I didn`t know if they had a gun or not. So I just came down to the house and stayed inside the rest of the day,” said Coleman.

Saturday, the fourth grader pointed out to other places in his neighborhood where he`s seen problems…his family`s only lived here off Mount Terrace for about a month…but he wants to move. He`s frightened for his safety and his little brother and sisters.

“They don`t supposed to be scared. I`m supposed to be protecting them. I`m the big brother of the family,” said Coleman.

According to detectives, Smith’s fingerprints helped police track him and the van down not too far away.

Smith faces several charges, including aggravated robbery.
