FORREST CITY, Ark. — Day 4 of Go Jim Go each year is a really unusual day.  The team travels to Forrest City and several points in eastern Arkansas, but there are only a few schools to visit.

Instead, the main attraction is a man named Steve Roberts.  Every year, he asks for donations from friends across the area.  And he has a lot of friends.

This morning on News Channel 3, Steve Roberts told Jim he’s raised $62,000 for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital through donations and fundraising events.

Le Bonheur staffers traveling with the riders thanked Steve again for his commitment to the hospital and its patients.

You can donate too right now by going to http://www.gojimgo3.org.
