MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Local firefighters honored those who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty and recognized the survivors of the fallen heroes Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters read the names of those who died while protecting strangers.
The memorial service was held at the Fire Museum of Memphis on Adams Street.
The memorial service also kicked off “Fire Prevention Week” which started today and will end on October 11th.
