SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — The Bulldogs were in the house at Fox & Hound.

“Obviously I feel great,” Alexis Lucas said.  “This is the first time we’ve had a big win like this in history.”

“We’ve been cheering, we’ve been loud saying maroon white all up in here,” Brittany Clay shouted.

Fans said the game was a good one and the win should put the team in the number one ranking spot this week.

“I would say when you beat 3 top 10 teams in 3 weeks. Yes,” Todd said.

Mississippi State remains undefeated (6-0).

“I don’t know.  It’s so surreal because I was there for so long and you know it’s been a long road with them, but now to see them rising — it’s just awesome,” Clay explained.

The fans are looking forward to what the team has up it’s sleeve for the rest of the season.

“Most definitely. And the weeks after, and the next week, and the next week until the season is over,” Lucas said.
