MEMPHIS, Tenn. — So you didn’t camp out for three days to get a huge television or laptop. No worries – with more than two weeks left before Christmas, there are still lots of bargains to scoop up!

Hundreds of retailers extended Cyber Monday deals. Target is offering 50 percent off of a different toy every day until Christmas Eve. Amazon kicked off specials in early November. As of Monday, December 8th, Walmart was offering 40 percent off certain toys, plus plugging its One-Day Deals.

There are plenty of deals to choose from beyond Black Friday.

Blogger Kyle James of Rather-Be-Shopping put together a list of the best days to shop between now and Christmas, based on previous years’ sales.

He told WREG, “I could tell what days we got particular coupons and what days we got particular deals.”

James says if you’re looking for a fancy flat-screen, keep your eye out for sales starting on December 12th.

“We’ve seen the last few years, go online, the last two weeks before Christmas, which falls this year on December 12th through 14th. We always see some really good deals and coupons from Best Buy and Costco.com,” he said.

Game systems, especially bundles, will be a good buy right after that, according to James.

If you haven’t finished toy shopping, mark your calendar for December 16th.

“If you shop online on Tuesday, December 16th, the last few years, that’s been the day, or we’ve gotten the most coupons from stores like Toys-R-Us, Amazon, Walmart,” James said.

The one caveat here is hot toys. Don’t wait that long to buy those.

December 18th marks a great time for any online shopping, especially apparel and shoes, since it’s Free Shipping Day.

Bottom line, retailers still have merchandise to get rid of. To cash in on those deals, watch for coupons that come in the mail, and keep an eye out for extra incentives like gift cards with a purchase.

James said, “Make sure and check out social media. You’ve got three or four stores you know you’re going to be shopping at between now and Christmas, make sure you’re following them on Facebook and Twitter, they’re posting a lot of exclusive deals.”

Daily deals have been a hit this year, so consider having emails delivered directly to your inbox from your favorite stores.

Don’t forget about price matching, too.
