MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men have been indicted on first-degree murder charges in the death of a man selling a car on Craigslist.
Brandon Vance, 22, and Martiness Henderson and Walter Collins, both 18, are charged with first-degree murder in the perpetration of a robbery.
Larry Wilkins, 37, was shot and killed March 9, 2014 last year in the Sycamore lake Apartments.
Prosecutors say the men arranged to meet Wilkins saying they were interested in buying the 2006 Ford Mustang he advertised.
Investigators said the men, “phoned and texted Wilkins to arrange a meeting and that their plan was for one to distract him while the others stole the car.”
All three admitted guilt according to prosecutors.
