MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A job fair will be held in February for the new Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid.
The job fair will be held February 2-4 at the Cook Convention Center.
There are more than 600 full-time and part-time jobs for the store, which is scheduled to open in May.

Applications will be accepted for full-time and part-time positions in the following departments: fishing, camping, hunting, archery, footwear, apparel/gifts, marine accessories, receiving and customer service. Bass Pro Shops will also employ cashiers, greeters, stockers, marine technicians, boat riggers, boat detailers and boat sales consultants.
In addition, restaurant positions are open for servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers, bartenders, dishwashers, line cooks and prep for the two full-service restaurants and bars located inside the Pyramid. Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill will also hire bowling technicians.
Big Cypress Lodge hotel positions available include concierge, houseman, front desk, night audit, bell service, massage therapist, esthetician and valet attendants.

Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid is set to open in spring 2015 as one of the most dynamic, immersive retail experiences in the world. In addition to vast assortments of outdoor gear, the new megastore will include the Big Cypress Lodge grand hotel; 600,000 gallons of water features; a cypress swamp with 100-foot-tall trees; an interactive National Waterfowling Heritage Center in partnership with Ducks Unlimited; and a breathtaking glass-floored cantilevering observation deck at the top of the 32-story steel pyramid.
