It all started with Austen Onek wearing a furry hat during winter weather coverage. We loved it while viewers had differing reactions. One person said it looked like a wig, while others warned him to beware of hunters! George Brown then did a ‘who wore it best’ with a pic of Austen and George’s son wearing a similar hat. Todd Demers broke out a hat a viewer gave him 30 years ago. We call it the Elmer Fudd hat. Last but not least, the bat hat made an appearance after George borrowed it from his son.
