MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A third person has died of hypothermia in the Mid-South, the medical examiner confirmed Thursday afternoon.
A body was found in the Whitehaven area, near February and Horn Lake Roads, Thursday morning.
The day before, a homeless man was found frozen to death in a vacant building in northeast Memphis.
A third man died in Forrest City, Arkansas.
Warming centers are open at the Orange Mound Community Center (2572 Park Avenue), the Gaston Community Center (1048 S. Third Street), and the Ed Rice Community Center (2907 Watkins Street).
