There are now six people who’ve declared their intentions to run for Memphis mayor.
Memphis Police Association President Mike Williams was the latest to declare candidacy this week.
Williams has been an outspoken advocate for officers who’ve endured everything from canceled pay raises to cuts in their health insurance coverage.
He’s also hasn’t hesitated to criticize current Mayor A C Wharton and his administration.
Williams said he plans to run on a platform of giving City Hall back to the people.
He joined the Informed Sources to discuss his campaign.
