MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is accused of kidnapping two children in a stolen car and fleeing from Southaven into Memphis on Thursday.
Harold Thomas, 31, is charged with two counts of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, Driving While License Suspended, and Theft of Property $2,500-$10,000.

Memphis Police say Harold Thomas took two children, ages three and eight, from their custodial mother in Southaven. He also allegedly took the mother’s 2015 Nissan Rogue, valued at $8,170.
Thomas crossed state lines and was stopped by MPD in the area of Knight Arnold and Hickory Hill. He was taken into custody without incident. Police said his mother was also in the vehicle.
Police say Thomas had a suspended Tennessee license.
Harold Thomas is set to appear in court Friday morning. His bond was set at $50,000.
