MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The 17-year-old female student who stabbed a fellow classmate now faces aggravated assault and possession of a weapon on school property charges.
Those charges stem from an incident that happened at Wooddale High School around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to reports, a fight broke out between the suspect and a 16-year-old.
The altercation left the younger girl with multiple stab wounds in both her arms.
The suspect was looked at for lacerations to her hands.
Both girls are expected to be okay.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office told WREG the weapon was not located.
We do not know what started that fight.
