MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Tabitha Gentry, the woman who claimed a home after it was foreclosed,  was found guilty of aggravated burglary and theft.

The theft carries 15 to 25 years in prison, while the burglary carries 3 to 6 years.

She was schedule to be back in court for sentencing on May 26.

This was not the first time the 35-year-old has been in trouble with the law.

She was already serving a 14-year sentence for an unrelated event where she assaulted two police officers back in 2012.

Then in 2013, Gentry moved into a mansion on South Shady Grove Road and claimed the home as a sovereign citizen not bound by the law.

The mansion belonged to Renasant Bank.

During the trial, Gentry refused to cooperate with her attorney and after several outbursts in court, was removed from the courtroom.
