ST. LOUIS, Mo. — A heated confrontation at a St. Louis frozen yogurt store  ended with a cashier throwing frozen yogurt on a customer, according to police.

Security video obtained by KTVI-TV showed a customer throwing money at a cashier.

Seconds later you can see the cashier throw a bowl of frozen yogurt at the customer.

The customer, Andrew Caldwell, said he was trying to get a discount on his yogurt, adding that the cashier called him a homosexual slur.

Caldwell became somewhat well-known for his pronouncement at a 2014 COGIC event.

In the video, Caldwell announced, “I’m not gay no more. I am delivert. I don’t like mens no more.”

Caldwell believes the cashier recognized him from the video.

The cashier however said she did not call Caldwell a homosexual slur, “That is not true,” she said. “I am gay.”

Instead, she said, “He showed me his driver’s license, and he was like, ‘I need a (expletive) discount, you (expletive).”

The cashier has been charged with third-degree assault.

Her employer has not decided if she will also lose her job.
