NASHVILLE, Tenn. – If you were planning on flying in or out of Nashville on Saturday, you better listen up.
Nashville International Airport announced on Tuesday it is scheduled to conduct a full-scale emergency drill this weekend.
According to WTVF, the drill will simulate two airplanes colliding on the runway in order to gauge emergency response.
More than 100 volunteers were selected to participate as victims in the scenario that will also include explosions and smoke.
The Federal Aviation Administration requires all airports to conduct a drill every three years.
