MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A state correctional officer was indicted after he allegedly had sex with a female inmate.
Investigators said he was charged with official misconduct.
Ocissie Hayes Jr. was first investigated after reports surfaced that he was in an inappropriate relationship with a woman at the Mark Luttrell Correctional Center.
The 52-year-old inmate was serving time for theft.
Investigators told WREG the relationship included unauthorized phone calls between the two, kissing, and sexual fondling in her cell.
