MEMPHIS – Usually we have to wait until Sunday to find out all the bowl match-ups.

I guess the Tigers are a bit ahead of the curve. On Wednesday, the Tigers found out that they would take on West Virginia in the Frisco Bowl.

A game that is less than two weeks away, set for Tuesday, December 17th from Frisco, Texas in a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN. A game that marks the first ever meeting between the Tigers and Mountaineers but a second straight bowl game against the Big XII for the U of M. Last year, Memphis beat Iowa State in the Autozone Liberty Bowl.

The Tigers head to Frisco looking for their 11th win of the season, making their 11th straight bowl game.

West Virginia is 6 and 6.
