GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — The City of Germantown announced some big changes are coming to Poplar Avenue at Exeter Road.

The city told WREG the intersection near the Whole Foods Grocery will be reconfigured to allow for three left turn lanes and one right lane turn for southbound traffic approaching Poplar.

Those changes will go into effect Tuesday, June 23.

Drivers are urged to be patient and be cautious when in this area as the changes will take a while for everyone to get use to.

The city also urged motorists to pay close attention to the new signal leading from Poplar/Exeter to the Whole Foods driveway, also known as Old Pete Mitchell Road.
