The city’s Annual “Salute to Fatherhood” event, co-founded by Memphis City Council member Myron Lowery, honors fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles and other positive male role models.
Willie Snipes, Jr., who has been named Father of the Year, and Law Enforcement Father of the Year, retired Shelby County Sheriff’s Captain Bennie Cobb, stopped by to talk about the honor and the special event.
