MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The standoff situation in the 400 block of Walker near Lauderdale has ended.
TACT Squad Officers were able to take him into custody.
According to reports, the 51-year-old man armed himself with a sawed off shot gun filled with birdshots and opened fire on 3 different people.
One person was shot by a pellet in the leg while another was hit in the mouth.
Both were minor injuries and the shooting victims refused medical attention.
The man went back into his home and refused to come out.
When officers went inside to get him, they reportedly recovered a firearm.
The suspect was taken into custody peacefully.
