MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police said two kids living on Kerwin Drive in Raliegh were severely beaten by their mom’s boyfriend.

Corry Leake was accused of beating the 2 and 4-year-old boys with the cord to a DVD player.

This all happened about a month ago, but Leake was just arrested over the weekend after the kids told investigators they were whipped because they were hard-headed.

One child said his brother had a crack with blood on his head.

Police said the children had bruised rib cages, welts on their arms and knots on their heads.

WREG went to the home where police said all of this happened, but no one came to the door.

We could hear children inside the home.

Leake was charged with four counts of child abuse.

He admitted to the crime.
