MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s finally Friday, which means it’s time to look at several events happening across the greater Memphis area this weekend. There is something for everyone.

All this weekend you can catch Collage Dance’s production of Rise! Set to the musical arraignment of Dr. King’s final speech, Rise is a reflection of what we have overcome and envisions where we go from here.

You can see the show at the Cannon Center. Tickets start at $22.

Friday is National Hot Chocolate Day! You can celebrate with free hot chocolate and coffee at the Renasant Center this morning from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. Bring the kids! They’ll have an indoor bouncy house. Admission is free.

On Saturday, the Memphis Botanic Garden unveils its latest seasonal exhibit. Trolls are coming to the garden to help save the humans!

You can visit ‘Trolliefolkyfest’ starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. The exhibit ends on May 21. Admission is $12.

The Monster Truck Wars are back in Memphis at the Agricenter this weekend. Expect car-crushing monster trucks and powerwheel races on Saturday. Tickets begin at $10 for kids and $25 for adults!

Also on Saturday, Tanger Outlets invites you to “ring in the year of the snake” with good fortune during its Lunar New Year celebration. It’s set to include arts and crafts and authentic Chinese dances. You can join the festivities from noon until 2 p.m. The event is free.

If you love culinary delights, delicious drinks, and great company make your way to the Memphis Restaurant Association Food Festival on Sunday. It will be held at the Kent from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $75.
