NEW ORLEANS – Kansas City was denied the first ever Super Bowl three-peat on Sunday, beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that made champions of three former Memphis Tigers.

Kenny Gainwell, Bryce Huff and Eagles kicker Jake Elliott. Elliott made Super Bowl history Sunday when he scored 16 kicking points for Philadelphia.

A perfect 4 for 4 on field goals including a 50-yarder and 4 for 4 on extra points.

Those four field goals also tied a Super Bowl record.

Elliott is now a perfect 9 for 9 on field goals in the Super Bowl as he hit five two years ago when the Eagles lost to Kansas City in Super Bowl 57, making him the most accurate kicker in Super Bowl history.
